What You Will Do

Responsible for supervising sales team on the assigned territory. Ensures that the role of each salesperson is clear and KPIs are well-defined, understood and monitored. Provides leadership, guidance and customer product expertise to the sales team. Trains distributor personnel about the products, its specifications, strengths, functions and applications. Provides guidance on optimal distributor territory configuration, manpower compliment and efficiencies to best serve all retail environments in the area.

Key Responsibilities

· Understands the distributors area of coverage and able to come up with optimal area cuts and efficient go to market model.

· Understands area’s geography, demographics and sales potential and use this information to maximize sales and allocate resources efficiently. - Able to optimize inventory levels to ensure customer service levels are met. - Deep appreciation of VMR system (Vendor Managed Replenishment) and is able to make the necessary adjustments based on on-ground program, activation/overall trade situation.

· Allocates/adjusts resources (TP, Rebate, CP) efficiently.

· Monitors distributor expenses/provides assistance on billings for on-time reimbursement of distributor claims.

· Ensures sales activities are in compliance with all federal/national, state, local and company regulations. - Ensures that all sales activities/activations are clearly cascaded and implemented on time.

· Provides account support and administration to increase company products presence with accounts.

· Leads specific sales events or projects to improve performance, collects utilizes necessary marketing information.

· Analyzes sales data to identify opportunities for increased productivity and sales on both a group and individual level. - Hires trains/evaluates performance of representatives.

· Administers promotions and incentives and provides motivation as needed.

· Establishes team and individual sales goals and provides effective coaching of sales representatives to consistently improve their performance.

· Understands distributor financials and able to come with recommendations on how to improve revenue/profit.

· Conducts minimum of semi-annual (or as needed) distributor P&L discussion and be able to provide strategic next steps on how to improve profitability.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

· 3 to 5 years of industry sales experience

· Well adept in Distributor Management

· Has good communication and Negotiation Skills

· Understands Territory Management - Has good people skills

· Competent in distributor financial management

· Can function effectively under pressure essential
