Job Description

Are you looking for fast-paced job where no two days are alike? Lifeguards are valued members of our resident experience team and we’re looking for you!

We’re CCMC, a community management company specializing in master-planned communities. Our vision of inspiring a resident-centric focus is brought to life by our core values: Integrity, Respect, Service and Community.

About the Community:

An amenity-rich, family-friendly, affordable community offers an unforgettable place to call home. We are tucked into the desert landscape and rugged mountains, providing a spectacular backdrop for the community and a year-round outdoor playground. Just minutes away, the nearby state park offers camping, hiking, and picnic areas.

Lifeguards are responsible for monitoring and supervising all pool related activities while enforcing policies and procedures. You will play an important role in the community by ensuring our residents stay safe while having fun in the sun!

What you’ll accomplish:

Learning the emergency action plan and how to employ it

Performing lifesaving duties when needed

Keeping the facilities clean and organized

Communicating pool rules effectively and politely

Assisting with opening and closing procedures as needed

Participating in scheduled aquatics meetings

What we’re looking for:

CPR certification is required

Strong swimming skills with the ability to pass a swim test

Energy, a great attitude and strong work ethic

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

Flexibility to work after-hours and weekends as scheduled

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

If driving is, or becomes, a requirement of the role, it is required, at all times, that you hold a valid state driver’s license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits. You must notify People Operations immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing. CCMC may periodically review motor vehicle reports to ensure compliance with these requirements.

The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:

Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.

Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.

Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.

Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.

We are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible work environment. If you require reasonable accommodations during the application process or in performing the job duties as described in the posting, please email so we can review next steps together.

What we offer:

Competitive pay, depending on experience

Perhaps most importantly, a service-oriented team who is dedicated to your success!
