Job Title: Assistant Extrusion Technician

Job Description

Join a leading manufacturer of high-quality plastic films as an Assistant Extrusion Technician. This role involves supporting the Extrusion Technician in ensuring the smooth operation of the production line, including the setup, loading, and unloading of materials to produce quality products efficiently.

Responsibilities

Assist with setting up the production line to ensure continuous loading of raw materials.

Prepare the line for running jobs and set up designated packaging.

Follow all required process documentation.

Unload and pack finished goods from the line.

Climb ladders to load materials and handle containers weighing up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs infrequently.Essential Skills

Mechanical aptitude with extrusion experience.

Ability to read and write English.

Understanding of safety policies in the manufacturing industry.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing.

Ability to utilize basic measuring devices.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WALLINGFORD, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
