Job Title: Ground Service Equipment Mechanic

Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures on aircraft ground support equipment.
Perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or company-owned equipment.
Diagnose engine mechanical issues and repair (Diesel, Gas, and LP).
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic start systems using necessary schematics.
Utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot Powertrain Management Systems.
Complete vehicle repair orders and other documentation accurately to maintain quality standards.
Communicate safety concerns and customer requests for service to management.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Ground support equipment maintenance
Engine diagnostics and repair
Diesel engine troubleshooting
Use of hand tools
Hydraulics repair
Preventive maintenance
Basic tool set (no power tools; those will be provided)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification/diploma preferred
2 or more years of related experience required
Valid driver's license and compliance with TSV Pool, Fleet, and DOT policies
Nice to have: ASE Certification
Work Environment
This is a contract-to-hire position, with a typical conversion to a permanent role around 18 weeks, depending on attitude and performance. The work involves diagnosing and repairing various mechanical and electrical systems on ground support equipment, utilizing diagnostic software, and following strict safety protocols.

Available Shifts: 1st and 2nd
Monday - Friday, 5:00am-1:30pm
Monday - Friday, 11am - 8pm
Opportunity for overtime: possibility but not guaranteed
Full-time
