Fire Alarm Installer

Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (and doing well!)

Experienced in fire alarm, voice/data, and security installation.

Knowledge of the following:

Commercial & industrial 3-phase electrical power systems.

Installation of all types of electrical conduit.

Installation of fire alarm devices including pull stations, speakers, horn strobes, relays, heat detectors, duct detectors, smoke detectors, etc,

Installation of switchgear, transformers, and panelboards.

Completes paperwork, including but not limited to, timesheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation. Keeps as-built drawings current.

Responsible to ensure all employees embrace our safety culture and comply with all safety initiatives.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license.

Must be able to pass compliance

Solid working knowledge of commercial electrical systems.

Two to five years of experience as an installer.

Able to read blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams and follow specifications.

Able to work independently.

Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.

Good communication skills.
