Brittany Bui with Robert Half is looking for a dedicated and strategic Controller to join our team in Vancouver, Washington. This role is pivotal in managing the financial health and operations of the company, ensuring sound decision-making and compliance. As a key leader within the organization, you will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management while driving strategic initiatives to support growth and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and maintain compliance.
• Create and manage annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify areas for cost savings, improved profitability, and operational enhancements.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity and financial stability for the organization.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize working capital and support business growth.
• Supervise and mentor a small finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Collaborate with leadership to evaluate and drive strategic initiatives aimed at improving profitability and efficiency.
• Ensure accurate preparation and submission of union reports and payroll processes, adhering to contractual obligations.
Salary Range: $140,000 - $150,000

• Proficiency in accounting software systems, with experience in Sage 100 preferred.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close activities and financial statement preparation.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Experience managing cash flow, including monitoring and forecasting liquidity.
• Familiarity with union contracts, reporting, and payroll processes is highly desirable.
• Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to provide actionable financial insights.
• Proven leadership abilities, with experience supervising and developing team members.
