Job Description
We are looking for a customer service representative/data entry clerk in Venice, FL. In this role, you will play a key part in updating and organizing customer account information related to waste management services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational and data entry skills to contribute to an important project.
Bilingual English/Spanish a huge plus!
Responsibilities:
• Input and update customer information in company systems using data from Excel spreadsheets.
• Organize and process account details for customers receiving replacement waste containers.
• Coordinate data entry to support the scheduling and delivery of new waste carts.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all entered data.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve any discrepancies or issues in customer records.
• Utilize Excel to manage and manipulate data effectively.
• Follow established procedures for data entry tasks and maintain confidentiality of information.
• Seek guidance and clarification from team members as needed to ensure accuracy.
• Participate in training sessions to quickly become proficient in the required processes.
• Maintain a business-casual appearance and adhere to company standards.• Proven experience with data entry tasks, including high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and organization.
• Familiarity with 10-key typing and efficient keyboarding skills.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently while being an active team player.
• Basic knowledge of Spanish is a plus, though not required.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and ask questions when needed.
• Ability to quickly learn and follow established procedures.
