We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Network Manager to oversee and optimize the network infrastructure for a leading non-profit organization. This Contract position is based in Nashville, Tennessee, and offers the opportunity to manage a complex and expansive network environment supporting the entire university. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in both wired and wireless systems, ensuring reliability and security while driving innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement comprehensive network solutions to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security.

• Manage the installation and maintenance of wired and wireless networks, including switches, routers, firewalls, and access points.

• Develop and enforce policies, standards, and procedures to enhance network reliability and security.

• Oversee Wide Area Networks (WANs), Local Area Networks (LANs), Software-Defined WANs (SD-WANs), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), and wireless infrastructure.

• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues proactively, and minimize downtime.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess networking needs and deliver tailored solutions.

• Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend upgrades and enhancements.

• Lead vendor management, budgeting, and lifecycle planning for network assets.

• Conduct regular audits and implement improvements to optimize network functionality.

• Prepare technical documentation and reports for stakeholders while managing team coordination and project planning.• At least 5 years of leadership experience in enterprise network management.

• Proven expertise in designing and implementing large-scale network solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.

• Proficiency with Cisco and Aruba equipment, as well as Operational Technology (OT) protocols.

• Hands-on experience with network security practices, including firewall configuration and intrusion prevention systems.

• Familiarity with cloud-based networking, virtualization technologies, and disaster recovery planning.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
