Job Description

Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Hagerstown, MD

Duration: 6-month contract with extensions, possible conversion

Schedule: Onsite M-F 9a-5pm

Pay Rate: 42-47/hr

Must Haves:

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline

1+ years of relevant experience

Plusses:

Experience with electrical design tools like CATIA Electrical, AutoCAD or others

Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry

Experience with simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis

Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA)

Knowledge of guidance and certification of aircraft Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS)

Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes

A leading aerospace and defense company in Hagerstown, MD is looking for an Electrical Engineer II to join their team. You will research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy and improve cutting edge products and services. These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft systems. You'll conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle of fully integrated systems.
