HireLevel is looking for Trailer Mechanics in Bridgeton, MO!

Since 1959, our client has provided high-equality Truck Trailers and personalized service to the transportation industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with equipment repair. The candidate must present a professional demeanor in all interactions.

Location: Bridgeton, MO

Shifts: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:30am - 5:00 pm

Compensation of the Trailer Mechanic: $25 - $30/hr. (Based on experience)

Responsibilities of the Trailer Mechanic:

Perform FHWA Inspections on customer and company equipment per DOT guidelines

Perform repairs to customer equipment including the following: electrical, installing lights, installing and setting up GPS, repair/replace wiring, diagnosing ABS issues, replacing and charging batteries, brake work, airbag repair, tandem repairs, welding (aluminum, stick, tig), trailer body panel repair, floor repairs, roof repairs, tire removal and replacement, bumper repair/replacement

Other duties as assigned

Requirements of the Trailer Mechanic:

Must present a professional demeanor in all interactions

Have own tools

Drive forklift or scissor lifts

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (CDL not required, but a plus)

Must meet requirements of background and drug screening policies
