Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Product Assistant (Manufacturing Tech 1) to join their team. As a Product Assistant, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, mechanical skills, and troubleshooting abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Product Assistant (Manufacturing Tech 1)
Location: St. Louis, MO
This role is on 2nd shift: Monday to Friday 2pm-1030pm
Training will be on 1st shift: 6am-2:30pm for 2-3 months
What's the Job?
Operate processing equipment and perform production operations.
Communicate and document the status of processes, products, and equipment.
Execute batch records in SAP and ensure compliance with safety policies.
Participate in required safety and quality training and maintain good housekeeping.
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of manufacturing areas and equipment.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience with SAP and mechanical troubleshooting.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to lift and push up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Willingness to work in a production environment and wear personal protective equipment.
