Temp Computer/ IT Configuration Specialists

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Computer Configuration Specialist to join our team.

This role involves preparing IT hardware—primarily wireless access points—for deployment by our installation crews.

Responsibilities include unboxing devices, running configuration scripts, verifying functionality, and repackaging units for field installation.

This position has multiple openings, starts mid June and ends mid to late August.

Personal vehicle required.

Responsibilities:

Unbox new access points and related hardware components upon delivery.

Execute configuration scripts to set up access points according to company specifications and network parameters.

Verify proper configuration and functionality of each unit through basic connectivity and status checks.

Document serial numbers, configurations, and other relevant data into asset tracking systems.

Repackage and label configured units for deployment by installation crews, ensuring safe transport and easy identification.

Collaborate with network engineers to troubleshoot configuration issues or escalate unresolved technical problems.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, and follow all safety and handling protocols.

Assist in inventory management and tracking of equipment through the configuration pipeline.
