We are currently hiring Licensed Behavior Specialists . What You Will Do as a Behavior Specialist:

Provide crisis stabilization to supported persons and ensure their health and safety

Provide Therapeutic Consultation Services to supported persons in accordance with company policies and procedures and Virginia Licensing and Medicaid requirements

Develop behavior plans

Implement positive behavior supports to include assessing and restructuring the environment to decrease maladaptive behaviors and increase adaptive behaviors

Train and evaluate staff on behavior plans

What You'll Be Compensated:

Annual salary up to $80,000, depending on credentials and experience.

We offer a competitive $2,000 sign on bonus, $1,000 at time of hire and another $1,000 after 3 months of billing!

What You Need to Have:

Position requires at a minimum: BA/BS degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Human Services, or a related area from an accredited college or university

Three years of documented experience working with special needs and challenging behaviors, particularly with the ID/DD population

Experience in developing behavior plans; MA/MS preferred

BCaBA, PBSF, BCBA, or unrestricted clinical licensure in VA such as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist are REQUIRED

Documentation of experience working with/developing behavior plans with special needs populations is REQUIRED

Significant experience working with ABA-based supports or in an environment that is committed to positive behavioral supports

Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends and be able to respond to crisis situations
