Job Summary
The Aerospace Process Engineer establishes and improves processes within the company, supports engineering with various duties and projects, and performs other tasks assigned by management.
Essential Job Duties
Establish, improve, and document company processes
Conduct process workouts with various teams to improve efficiency
Analyze, evaluate, and perform corrective action of engine repair processes
Research ADs and SBs as required
Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable safety policies
Work well within engineering, analyzing all relevant data and circulate within the company as necessary
Handle multiple projects simultaneously
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
Perform other duties as assigned
Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
Minimum Job Requirements
Four-year college degree in engineering or related field, or 4 years working in a similar role
FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificate (A&P) or Repairman’s certificate preferred
Ability to communicate efficiently and professionally
Obtain working knowledge of AMOS/Quantum Control and Jetraxx systems within six months
Proficient user of Adobe DC & Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Read, write, and understand the English language.
Accountabilities
Accountable to the Director of Operations Planning and Performance.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 35 lbs. unassisted
May be exposed to loud noise
Able to bend, stoop, kneel and stand for prolonged periods, climb steps, ladders, and/or service stands
Ability to talk, hear and smell
Reach/handle items, work with fingers and perceives attributes of object and materials
May need to work outside as necessary
Normal office environment and performed in the sitting position with the remaining time walking around the office or repair station/shop areas
Normal or corrected hearing
May need to work in hot or cold weather conditions
Visual Acuity must be a minimum of 20/40 corrected and must be able to distinguish color
