Position Summary:

Our Client is seeking a Radiologic Tech for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing patient conditions. This role ensures high-quality imaging, patient safety, and adherence to all regulatory standards. The candidate will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, adhering to radiation safety standards, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety procedures are followed.

Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring comfort and safety.

Monitor patient condition during procedures and report any unusual reactions to medical staff.

Maintain accurate patient records, imaging data, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and facility standards.

Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality diagnostic results.

Required Qualifications:

A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH.

ARRT certificate in Radiography required

AHA BLS.

Associate's Degree required.

1 year General Radiographer experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

AHA BLSpreferred.
