The Antenna Center of Excellence (ACOE) has an immediate opening in Norcross, Georgia, USA for a Lead RF Engineer. Responsibilities will be to perform the following design and factory support activities for products in development and in production.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
Primarily responsible for specifying, designing, developing and supporting RF systems which can include Radar and EW electronics.
Products operate from 1 GHz to 100 GHz and over a wide range of power levels.
Products are designed for commercial, science and military applications on a wide range of platforms including ground stations and vehicles, marine craft, aircraft, satellites and other spacecraft.
Activities entail a mix of design, simulation and hands-on lab work; supporting business development activities including proposals and customer interfacing; providing regular project schedule and cost updates.
Some domestic and international travel required, typically less than 2 weeks per year.
Must be a US citizen due to contractual requirements
MUST HAVE
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering required
10+ years RF engineering experience; MSEE or above will be considered in lieu of experience
5+ years experience with simulation tools such as Keysight ADS, AWR Microwave Office or HFSS
5+ years experience with common RF test equipment such as network analyzers
Must be a US citizen due to contractual requirements/ The candidate must have or have the ability to obtain a security clearance (Secret/Top Secret).
WE VALUE:
MSEE or PhD desired
Experience with active RF devices including low noise amplifiers, power amplifiers, mixers and limiters a plus
Antenna design experience a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and proactive; able to independently formulate and execute plans and deliver on commitments
Able to work in a cross-functional, globalized team environment
