Job Title: Supervisor â Production / Assembly
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Shift: Full Time Monday to Friday 1st shift
Pay: $33-35/hr
Position Summary:
This role is responsible for organizing and managing assembly or production operations to meet scheduled demands while prioritizing safety, team development, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Production Supervisor will lead and motivate the team to meet operational objectives and drive performance.
Primary Responsibilities:
Supervise the assembly production team, serving as the first point of contact for performance management, scheduling, timecard approvals, and general personnel matters.
Effectively allocate employee resources and equipment to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Collaborate with departments such as Quality, Receiving, and Shipping to ensure smooth workflows.
Maintain and promote a safe and organized work environment.
Provide leadership and accountability to support a high-performing team culture.
Ensure equipment and products meet established quality standards.
Lead efforts to identify and remove production barriers and implement process improvements.
Coordinate daily planning and floor organization with team leads.
Manage resources to ensure timely shipment of orders.
Develop a cross-trained workforce to support production across multiple product lines.
Monitor production orders and schedules to ensure efficiency and productivity targets are achieved.
Contribute to the creation and execution of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Prioritize activities effectively to meet deadlines and support overall operational goals.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience with proven team management capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build effective working relationships across various levels of the organization
Strong decision-making and organizational skills
Dependable, safety-focused, and results-oriented
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and timekeeping software
Understanding of workplace organization and 5S principles
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with mechanical and electrical assemblies
Background in continuous improvement initiatives
A proactive, self-motivated approach with a drive to succeed
