Engage with Chinese clients to understand and gather their international logistics needs, providing suitable transportation solutions.
Coordinate and manage freight forwarding and logistics service providers in China and Indonesia to ensure efficient and compliant services.
Work with suppliers to obtain pricing and formulate competitive logistics solutions based on client requirements.
Track the execution of freight orders, ensuring smooth transportation processes and promptly resolving any issues.
Monitor transportation costs, optimize cost structures, and improve business profitability.
Identify and mitigate potential risks in logistics and supply chain operations to ensure compliance and business continuity.
Work closely with internal departments (sales, operations, finance, etc.) to enhance overall business efficiency.
Job Requirements:
Proficiency in Mandarin is required. Good english communication will be a plus point.
A bachelor's degree or higher in International Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Trade, or related fields is preferred.
At least 4 years of experience in international freight forwarding or logistics; experience in handling Chinese clients or managing cross-border logistics is preferred.
Familiarity with international shipping (sea & air), customs clearance, and regulations governing logistics between Indonesia and China.
Ability to coordinate and manage freight forwarders and carriers, effectively selecting, negotiating, and optimizing supplier resources.
Strong cross-cultural communication skills to efficiently liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Ability to handle urgent logistics situations such as shipment delays and customs clearance issues, providing quick and effective solutions.
Strong sense of responsibility, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to collaborate closely with the team to achieve goals.
