Technical Writer

Our client, a leader in autonomous mobility, is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the Base Operations team supporting fleet-level maintenance, repair, and upgrade operations. The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills, high attention to detail, and a can-do, team player attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technical Writer

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $43-$48 per hour

What's the Job?

Create and update technical documentation for vehicle-level inspection, maintenance, and repair procedures.

Develop fleet upgrade and rework procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Author technical service bulletins to communicate critical information to technicians.

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers and technicians to gather necessary information.

Maintain high standards of safety and detail in all documentation produced.

What's Needed?

2-4 years of experience as a technical writer or in a relevant field.

Proficiency with Google Suite and MS Office Suite.

Experience with topic-based writing concepts and markup languages (HTML, XML, or DITA XML).

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
