Group Home Manager

Job Description

The Group Home Manager will oversee the daily operations of the residential group home for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role ensures a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment that promotes residents’ independence, health, and well-being in compliance with state regulations and agency policies. The Manager will lead and supervise direct care staff, coordinates care services, and work closely with families, case managers, and healthcare providers.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in human services or related field preferred.

Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience in a residential setting is preferred.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Must pass background checks and required training certifications (e.g., CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, Article 9, Prevention & Support etc.)

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
