A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Warehouse Operator located in Canaan, CT. The Packaging Operator would be working for a major company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Warehouse Operator Compensation
The pay for this position is $23 per hour
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Warehouse Operator Highlights
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
The required availability for this position is M-Th 7am to 5:30pm, OT available on Friday 7am to 1pm
Warehouse Operator Responsibilities
· Uses a variety of equipment such as forklifts conveyers cranes handcarts and power trucks to move materials parts assemblies and finished products or goods within a plant office or warehouse.
· May maintain records.
· Develops skills in basic tasks techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method.
· Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
· Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines. Works under general to limited supervision.
Warehouse Operator Requirements
6 months + of warehouse or related experience
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
Strong Computer skills, including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet and web-based programs
Effective orally and in writing communication, experience with motivational interviewing preferably
Warehouse Operator Preferred Qualifications
3+ years as a warehouse Operator within a medical manufacturing environment
