Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of the Collections Strategy, Business Analytics & Continuous Improvement function in the GBS Collections you will be responsible to build the architecture to deliver highly reliable MIS, to assist collections support process, perform quality controller/Dialer admin tasks and track and follow-up applications incidents and measure SLA fulfillment.

Accountabilities

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

Support the development and design of executive presentations aimed at managerial and executive levels, as required.

Assist in the coordination and follow-up of assigned projects, ensuring the achievement of milestones, key dates, and objectives, and align the various stakeholders involved. Applying a structured methodology when leading projects required by the unit and support internal team requirements to incorporate new operations/users to the unit.

Open, track and follow up on application incidents for the support department ensuring SLA compliance of incident metrics.

Create reporting views based on reports created or raw data delivered and perform analytics on Collections and Recovery of trends and results based on given drivers.

Identify best practices and replicate them across Collections & Recovery Hub’s with the ability to turn data into information.

Oversee and generate alerts productivity indicators and ensure agent availability to handle inbound calls, generate alerts over Not Ready times for all operations according to each segment thresholds at predictive dialer platform.

Ensure that all periodical activities for dialer team are executed in a timely manner.

Provide coverage for the Assistant position to the Senior Vice President of Collections and the Vice President of CCAU during absences.

Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the

Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Responsible for managing multiple small projects concurrently.

Education / Experience / Other Information

Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent

Basic Analytical & logic background

Knowledge of Excel, (VBA is a plus)

Knowledge of Microsoft Access is a plus.

ITIL basic knowledge (Plus)

Familiarity with project management methodologies, and best practices (Plus)

Working knowledge of retail credit products

Fluent English
