Senior Database Administrator

International Logic Systems, Inc. (ILS) is a government contractor located in Washington, DC area. A CMMI Level (3), ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 27001 organization, ILS provides integrated services and flexible solutions to federal, state, and local agencies and private institutions. ILS is looking for a dedicated Senior Database Administrator to support a large-scale project.

The Senior Database Administrator role is based in New York City and may involve on-site visits to the client’s location within the city. While the current work arrangement is HYBRID (remote work from home or at the ILS Headquarters in Fairfax, VA), applicants should only apply if they are willing and able to travel to the client site in New York City as needed.

Responsibilities

Leads the effort in database management through data modeling. Expert in setting up Microsoft SQL Server database in virtual and clustered environments, along with experience in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

Qualifications

KEY REQUIREMENTS: Serves as key member of the database team, managing all operations consistent with database management. Ability to perform and troubleshoot SQL Server Backups, Restore Strategies, Replication, SQL Server Performance Tuning and Query Optimization.

Experience:

8+ years of relevant experience

SQL Server 2014/2016/2019

SSIS packages

DB2

OLAP

OLTP data modeling with the ERWin data modeling tool
