Job Title: Order Picker - 2nd Shift
Job Description
The role involves supporting the Distribution Center by efficiently picking merchandise located in all order filling zones and labeling each carton to ensure ease of identification and scanning. This position requires meticulous attention to detail to accurately pick and label merchandise from primary pick locations.
Responsibilities
Accurately pick and label merchandise from designated locations.
Identify units of measure correctly.
Recognize correct merchandise and account for any damaged goods.
Prepare orders accurately and transport them to the Shipping Department.
Meet quality and productivity standards consistently.
Follow directions provided by the Supervisor.
Maintain excellent attendance and reliability.
Adhere to Distribution Center housekeeping guidelines.Essential Skills
Experience with forklifts, order picking, inventory management, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and material handling.
Skills in shipping and receiving, and order selection.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to lift between 80-120 lbs.
High school diploma preferred.
Commitment to safety and compliance with safety policies.
Demonstrated excellent attendance record.
Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed.
Strong comprehension, organizational, and math skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively with various departments and all levels of management.
Ability to maintain accurate records and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
Capability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Team player with a positive, 'can do' attitude.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rome, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
