Minimum 1+ years counselor experience required.

A skilled Counselor is sought for a K-12 educational setting in Dublin, OH, for the upcoming school year. This role involves providing essential support and guidance to students, facilitating their emotional and academic development within a structured environment.

Qualifications:

Valid Ohio State Counseling degree and licensure.

Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings.

Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related processes.

Ability to pass a background check and maintain reliable transportation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Location:

Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing a range of emotional and behavioral issues.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrative staff to support student needs and develop tailored intervention plans.

Conduct assessments to understand students' strengths and challenges, ensuring appropriate support is provided.

Facilitate crisis intervention and provide support during challenging situations.

Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the development of a positive school environment.
