Job Description

This position is responsible for the efficient setup, programming, and operation of a turning center to produce metal components for the production of equipment. The machinist will produce individual, unique components in small batches, ensuring that each part meets precise specifications.

Responsibilities

Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, or other written instructions and procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.

Proficient in programming Fusion 640T.

Follow good manufacturing practices for efficient production.

Work comfortably in increments of 0005.

Perform mathematical calculations to ensure quality parts.

Troubleshoot to resolve technical problems and perform basic maintenance on machinery.

Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.

Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area.

Execute tasks assigned by the Supervisor/Management quickly and efficiently.Essential Skills

5 years or more experience with CNC Lathes and related programs.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints along with verbal instructions.

Experience working in a job shop environment.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
