Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Job Description
This role requires a skilled individual to set up machines, perform tool changes, and conduct tear downs. The operator will read micrometers and calipers, interpret blueprints/drawings to create parts, and inspect these parts for any flaws. While minor machine maintenance is part of the role, training will be provided for those unfamiliar with it.
Responsibilities
Set up CNC machines for production.
Perform tool changes and tear downs.
Read and interpret micrometers and calipers.
Analyze blueprints/drawings to create parts.
Inspect produced parts to ensure quality standards.
Conduct minor maintenance on machines.Essential Skills
1+ years of experience setting up machines (Mill or Haas).
1+ years of experience tearing down machines and performing tool changes on Mills or Haas.
1+ years of CNC operation experience on Mills or Haas.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Proficient in reading measuring instruments, specifically micrometers and calipers.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read blueprints.

Work Environment
The work environment is bright and clean, with a long line of machines and a large warehouse containing small assembly stations. While not climate controlled, the space is reasonably comfortable, with a faint scent of oil and metal. The company operates on a weekday shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, offering a dynamic and engaging atmosphere.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Haven, Michigan.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $27.00/hr.
