Location: Woodhull, IL 61490

Duration: 18+ Months

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr on W2

Shift Schedule:

Rotating shifts 1st, 2nd, 3rd, up to 10-12 hour/day per shift.

Shift possibilities:

Sunday-Thursday

Saturday-Friday

12 hour shifts- 2-3-2 rotation depending on season

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift in a professional, accident-free manner. Maintain detailed and accurate forklift inspections.

Forklift Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on the forklift to ensure it remains in good working condition.

Inventory Management: Continuously track the location of goods during material handling using the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Accurately enter data into the system.

Additional Duties: Assist with other manual tasks as directed by the warehouse supervisor or team lead (e.g., sampling, inventory management, cleaning).

Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse to ensure safety and efficiency.

Delivery/Return Assistance: During the seed delivery and return season, ensure the proper loading and unloading of transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer expectations.

Safety Standards: Adhere to safety protocols at all times. Initiate and follow emergency procedures when necessary to ensure a safe working environment.

Preferred Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience.

Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience.

Prior forklift certification is preferred but not required.

Skills:

Attention to Detail: Ability to count inventory accurately and handle materials with precision.

Technology Proficiency: Ability to use technology such as PCs and scanners for job tasks and inventory tracking.

Multi-tasking: Strong ability to multi-task and remain detail-oriented while managing multiple tasks.

Safety Awareness: Ability to stay alert and aware when driving the forklift, ensuring safe operation.

Communication: Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, in English. Able to work independently or within a team setting.

Spatial Awareness: Capable of working in tighter, confined spaces while operating a forklift safely.

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:

Must pass a background check and other pre-employment screenings.

Must have reliable transportation to the work site and be able to arrive on time.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English.

Maintain a positive attitude, enthusiasm, honesty, and a willingness to treat all coworkers with respect.Company Description
