Job Description

We are excited to assist our client in finding a talented and analytical Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join their team in Columbus, OH. You will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing the company's accounts receivable processes. This position focuses on the analytical side of business-to-business collections, requiring you to identify trends, solve problems, and ensure the timely collection of outstanding invoices. You will work closely with various departments to optimize the accounts receivable function and contribute to the company's financial health. This position is starting on the contract side with the plan to convert to permanent once you are up and running.

Responsibilities:

Review and analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

Manage the collections process for business clients, ensuring timely and accurate collection of outstanding invoices.

Identify and resolve issues related to accounts receivable, including discrepancies, payment delays, and customer disputes.

Monitor and report on accounts receivable trends, providing insights and recommendations to improve the collections process.

Work closely with the finance, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless accounts receivable operations.

Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in accounts receivable, with a focus on business-to-business collections and analytical problem solving.

Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and provide actionable insights.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

High attention to detail and accuracy in managing accounts receivable data and processes.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
