Job Title: TIG Welder

Job Description

Join our team as a TIG Welder, where you will be responsible for welding during the manufacturing of Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) Ion Pumps made of stainless steel. You will primarily perform butt welds and some piping. Over time, you will master welding 20 different products and custom variations using blueprints. The role involves short-run welds averaging 3-10 parts per order, with growth opportunities from Welder I to III.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding on stainless steel for UHV Ion Pumps.

Execute butt welds and some piping.

Learn and master welding for 20 standard products and custom variations using blueprints.

Complete short-run welds averaging 3-10 parts per order.Essential Skills

2+ years TIG welding experience on stainless steel.

Proficiency in reading blueprints.

Welding certification.

Ability to lift 50 lbs.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

You will work in a small company with about 40 employees, where the production team consists of 25 people and the welding team has 6 members. We have recently moved into a new building and are experiencing growth. We are looking for a team player who values a strong company culture.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
