Job Description
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a phlebotomist – ideally in hospital setting, good well rounded experience drawing blood
Comfortable with difficult draws - Confident in phlebotomy skills (some oncology patients’ veins are harder to find due to medications they are on)
Phlebotomist certification from accredited school
Plusses:
Oncology experience
Experience within a high-volume patient setting
Bilingual
Lab assistant experience
Day to Day:
This person will be responsible for collecting and processing specimens for patients. Therefore, they will need to properly identify patient, draw blood samples and send to the laboratory for analysis. Phlebotomist will be working with a high volume of patients around 40-50 per day.Company Description
