CNC Programmer/ Machinist

Our company is searching for a talented and experienced CNC Machine Programmer/ Machinist to oversee out CNC mills and lathe machines using MASTERCAM software. You will be responsible for ensuring our company produces quality parts on our CNC mills, CNC lathes, and NC mills specific to engineering drawings and our client’s standards.

As the CNC Programmer, you must be a highly skilled professional, with excellent attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. In order to excel in this role, you will also need to have an in depth knowledge of Fadal and Fanuc G and M codes as well as:

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Produce programs from Solid works and AUTOCAD drawings

Be able to generate CNC mill and CNC Lathe programs with BOBCAM

Set-up & manage CNC machines and be able to determine machining processes & fixture methods

Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production

Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improves results

Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality

Record all machine actions by completing work orders

Provide timelines to management when asked for

Work on any other project/tasks as assigned or directed by the Manufacturing Manager and/or Executive Team.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification required

At least 2 years of CNC Programing / Set up

At least 2 years of CAM Programming

Ability to translate engineering drawings and mechanical documents

Great attention to detail with a goal driven attitude

Strong comprehension and analytical abilities

Good computer and mathematical skills
