Job Description

Join our fabrication department as a Grinder Operator, where you will play a crucial role in preparing newly welded metal parts for painting. This hands-on position involves using a small handheld grinding tool to smooth out metal surfaces, ensuring that they are ready for the paint booth. No prior experience is needed, as we provide comprehensive training for motivated individuals who are eager to work hard and earn competitive entry-level pay.

Responsibilities

Remove all weld spatter from metal surfaces.

Smooth metals accurately to ensure paint adherence.

Operate a handheld grinder safely and efficiently.

Move materials as necessary for the fabrication process.

Wear protective PPE to safeguard against sparks while grinding.Essential Skills

Mechanical skills and familiarity with metal fabrication.

Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Ability to operate small electric grinding tools.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
