Volt is seeking an Electro Mechanic in Irvine, CA.
The Electro Mechanic will:
Safely install, maintain repair move, replace, modify, upgrade, troubleshoot, diagnose, adjust, calibrate and perform preventative maintenance on industrial and commercial equipment used in production, laboratory, office and utility areas. Provide support needed to Production and Engineering groups for installation and optimization of new equipment and controls.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust production mechanical and electrical components and equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust plant mechanical and electrical components and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures on production, facility and safety equipment.
- Safely operate standard and precision shop equipment, portable power tools and hand tools.
This is a fully on-site long-term contract opportunity in Irvine, CA.
The right candidate will have:
-2 years of Electro Mechanic experience or 12 units of applicable college level coursework or apprenticeship.
-Proven mechanical equipment maintenance experience or related plant/production experience.
-Ability to pass the Maintenance Selection Test Battery.
-Knowledge and skills of mechanical concepts at a level required to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and devices is normally required.
-Knowledge and skills of Electrical concepts at a level required to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and devices is normally required.
Pay rate:
$31.00/hr depending on experience
*Pay rate offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
