Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator for the 2nd shift to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining principles and CNC machine operations, with a keen mechanical aptitude and interest in the field.

Responsibilities

Operate manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes.

Recognize various material types used in the department and adjust equipment accordingly.

Identify worn tooling and perform necessary changes in the machine.

Verify the accuracy of completed products through batch inspections.

Report defective materials, process malfunctions, or non-compliance issues to the Department Lead.Essential Skills

Prior experience in CNC operating.

Proficiency in using lathes, mills, calipers, micrometers, and other machining tools.

Familiarity with blueprint reading and machine shop operations.

Knowledge of programming and setup, including G code and axis operations.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

This position operates on the 2nd Shift, from Monday to Thursday, 4:30 pm to 3:00 am. The facility is clean, climate-controlled, and serves a variety of industries. The role requires regular standing, sitting, handling of materials, and communication. Occasionally, the role may involve lifting up to 25 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

This is a Permanent position based out of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47000.00 - $47000.00/yr.
