Direct Hire 1st or 2nd Shift: Quality Inspector (Machine Shop)
Job Description
This position requires a candidate who can read and interpret blueprints, understand measurement needs, and accurately use mechanical inspection tools daily. The ideal candidate should be adaptable to established processes and proactive in seeking clarification when necessary.
Responsibilities
Utilize height gauges, pin gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other mechanical inspection tools.
Inspect and audit products using variable or attribute measuring equipment to ensure conformance with part and customer requirements.
Read, interpret, and understand print requirements, including those developed using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Understand and apply aerospace, military, and industry specifications along with manufacturing instructions.
Conduct conventional inspections using standard inspection gauging equipment.
Work with vision systems such as Keyence, CMM, and Zeis.
Perform First Part Buy Off, Receiving, In-Process, Final, and First Article Inspections.
Fully understand AS9102 requirements.
Essential Skills
Minimum 2+ years being in a quality inspection position!
Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, profilometers, microscopes, and other mechanical inspection tools.
Ability to read, interpret, and understand print requirements developed using GD&T.
Experience with ISO 9001 Documentation and ASQ9100 standards.
Ability to apply skilled mechanical inspection methods.
High School Diploma or GED.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with quality control, visual inspection, and quality check.
Experience in the aerospace industry.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $66560.00/yr.
- Climate Controlled and super clean
- Guaranteed 3% company contribution to 401k (not a match. For example, if you put in 6% they put 3% and if you put 0% they put 3%)
- 2 weeks PTO right away plus the Minnesota sick pay on top of that
- Average tenure is 10+ years

- Sometimes will have a bonus at the end of the year depending on company performance/profits
