Job Description
Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
In the role of Special Education School Psychologist, you will be a key player in supporting students with disabilities. Through virtual assessments and consultations, you'll determine eligibility for special education services and provide ongoing support to ensure that students have the tools they need to succeed. Your expertise in working with diverse student needs will be critical as you work closely with special education teams, families, and educators to create individualized educational experiences.
Duties:
Collaborate with the special education team to evaluate students for eligibility in special education programs.
Conduct virtual assessments of cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Prepare reports for Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on assessment results.
Offer guidance on behavior modification strategies for students with disabilities.
Support the implementation of academic and behavioral interventions remotely.
Provide training to educators on best practices for supporting students with special needs
