Machine Operator- Weekly Pay $$- Start ASAP

Pay: Up to $19/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, Various Shifts

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team! In this role, you will collaborate with team members to review job jackets, organize and maintain roll stock for presses, and set up and operate roll stands. You will also be responsible for safely operating clamp trucks and forklifts to move paper rolls, paper waste, and printed cartons. Maintaining accurate records of allocated board and effectively managing and reporting board waste and damage are key responsibilities. Additionally, you will ensure a clean and organized work area and assist during downtime as directed by operators.

Responsibilities:

Review job jacket with team members.

Organize and maintain roll stock for presses.

Set up and operate roll stand.

Safely operate clamp truck and forklift to move paper rolls, paper waste, and printed cartons.

Maintain accurate records of allocated board.

Effectively manage and report board waste and damage.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Assist during downtime and maintenance requests as directed by Operators.

Perform duties and responsibilities of Press Catcher as needed.

Correctly jog and palletize quality WIP (Work in Process) product from the press.

Monitor print and cut quality of cartons.

Perform basic maintenance on press.

Skills:

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Ability to troubleshoot issues.

Good communication skills.

Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions.

Basic math skills.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
