Job Title: Forklift Operator - Weekly Pay!

Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in our production process, primarily responsible for transporting super sacks with oatmeal and other grain ingredients. These ingredients will be sent to our customers for use in popular products. Your tasks will include using a forklift to remove filled super sacks from the tote station, entering product details into our warehouse information system, and printing labels for tracking purposes. Once the super sack is labeled, tied shut, and stretch wrapped, you will transport it to our warehouse for temporary storage. Additional duties include organizing supplies, performing quality checks, checking magnets for foreign materials, and maintaining a clean work area.

Responsibilities

Operate toting stations to fill super sacks with grain ingredients.

Use forklift to transport filled super sacks from tote stations.

Enter product details into warehouse information system and print tracking labels.

Transport labeled and wrapped super sacks to warehouse storage.

Organize supplies and check magnets for foreign materials.

Perform quality checks and maintain cleanliness of work area.

Load bulk trailers with oatmeal and oat flour.

Assist mill operators as needed.Essential Skills

Proficiency in forklift operation.

Experience with drive-through industrial racks.

Ability to communicate effectively and work as a team member.

Adherence to safety policies and good manufacturing practices.Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Good oral and written communication skills.

Ability to work with diverse personalities including co-workers, customers, and grain delivery personnel.

Basic math skills.

Basic computer knowledge.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $23.00/hr.
