An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled professional seeking a contract position as a School Psychologist in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. This role focuses on providing essential psychological services to students during a maternity leave coverage, extending from September 2025 through May 2026.
Location:
Tracy, CA
Onsite at 1-3 school sites
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teaching staff and parents.
Provide counseling and psychological support to students, addressing a range of emotional and behavioral issues.
Consult with educators and staff regarding mental health strategies and interventions.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to student care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and interventions.
Qualifications:
Valid California Pupil Personnel Service Credential (PPS) in School Psychology.
Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in diverse environments.
