General Laborer

Job Description

Staff Source is seeking candidates for a client in Crown Point, IN that are looking for reliable, eager and dedicated individuals to be part of their General Labor team with a starting pay rate of $15 per hour. The General Labor position may lead to a temporary to permanent opportunity based on company needs, performance and attendance.

Job Duties:

Prepare products to be received or shipped from warehouse

Properly identify and tag material

Receive and record computer entries for all inbound materials

Unload, unpack and examine incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages

Package and prepare finished goods and other materials for shipment

Perform work safely and in accordance with company standards and safety regulation

Performs other duties as required

Qualifications:

Ability to succeed while handling multiple tasks and responsibilities

Capability to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to work 8-10hr shifts on first shift

Ability to stand, bend and twist for long periods of time

Strong attention to detail, flexible and reliable

Capability to work independently while maintaining a positive team atmosphere
