Job Description

The plasma table operator responsibility is to operate and maintain a Hypertherm plasma cutting machine to cut metal materials according to specifications. This includes setting up, programming, and monitoring the machine, as well as ensuring the quality and accuracy of the cuts.

This involves loading materials, selecting the correct cutting parameters (speed, depth, angle), and initiating the cutting process.

The operator needs to understand blueprints and other technical drawings to determine how to cut the material.

Inspect finished parts for defects, measuring dimensions, and ensuring they meet quality standards.

Moving and handling materials using equipment like forklifts or cranes.
