General Laborer - Powder Press

Job Description

Our client in Irwin PA is seeking a General Laborer to work in the Powder Press area

Duties:

- Assist in the preparation and handling of powders used in the manufacturing process.

- Assist in Machine Operation; mixing and blending powders before filling molds

- Follow established procedures for powder coating processes, ensuring quality standards are met.

- Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the powder prep room and surrounding work areas to ensure a safe and organized environment.

- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely production schedules are met.

- Assist with the handling and loading of parts into machinery, ensuring proper setup and alignment.

- Follow safety protocols and company guidelines for handling hazardous materials and operating machinery.

Requirements:

- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is required.

- Knowledge of powder coating or powder preparation processes is a plus but not required.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.

- Ability to lift 50lbs
