Job Summary:

TeamGov, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stationary Engineer to maintain the mechanical maintenance operations for our buildings. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of expertise in mechanical maintenance and at least 3 years of experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS). The Stationary Engineer should hold a valid/current California Building Operators Certification (BOC) and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft applications. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong effective communication abilities and experience in supply and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain mechanical maintenance activities for buildings.

Ensure optimal operation of Building Automation Systems (BAS).

Assist in permitting processes at Federal, State, and Local levels, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and laboratory systems.

Read and interpret technical documents such as diagrams, plans, manuals, and schematics.

Utilize Microsoft Applications for reporting, data analysis, and project management.

Manage supply and inventory for maintenance operations.

Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.

Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of expertise in managing mechanical maintenance for buildings.

Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Building Automation Systems (BAS).

Valid/current California Building Operators Certification (BOC).

Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and laboratory systems.

Experience in supply and inventory management.

Strong supervisory skills and the ability to direct operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.

Certification in Facilities Management (CFM) or similar credentials.

Experience with facilities management software and tools.

Knowledge of building systems and infrastructure.
