Driver / Laborer (Swing )

Job Description

Overview:

Vinco Mechanical is seeking a reliable and flexible Driver / Laborer to support daily operations. This swing position plays a critical role in ensuring timely deliveries and pickups, vehicle maintenance, and assisting with labor needs in both our ductwork shop and in the field. The ideal candidate is a hands-on team player who takes initiative, stays organized, and is willing to jump in wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate up to 22' delivery vans to transport HVAC equipment, ductwork, and supplies between shop, job sites, and vendors - driving safely and within the law is paramount

Accurately log all pickups and deliveries in our software platform (Service Titan)

Clock in/out and track tasks through Service Titan for accountability and transparency

Conduct routine auto care duties:

Monitor registration, insurance, and inspection statuses for company vehicles

Schedule and track regular maintenance and repairs

Provide hands-on support in the ductwork fabrication shop or in the field on job sites when delivery workload is light or manpower is needed

Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and storage area

Communicate effectively with office staff, field teams, and vendors

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

Prior experience in HVAC preferred

Familiarity with Service Titan or similar software is a plus

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented

Possession or willing and able to possess FDNY G60 Certificate of Fitness

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday–Friday (occasional weekend work as needed)
