Job Title: Construction Equipment Operator

Location: Rockville, Md

Employment Type: Contractor

Schedule: Monday–Friday, some weekends/overtime as needed

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Equipment Operator to join our growing team. You will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy equipment used in site prep, excavation, grading, trenching, and roadwork. If you have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate construction equipment such as:

Excavators

Skid steers

Bulldozers

Backhoes

Loaders

Graders

Assist in site prep including clearing, leveling, trenching, and digging.

Follow project blueprints, instructions, and safety regulations.

Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.

Report any equipment issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Work closely with other crew members to complete tasks on time and within scope.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.

Osha 10

Ability to read site plans and follow directions.

Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.Company Description
