Master Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Maintain, repair, and calibrate production machinery including robotics, conveyors, CNC machines, stamping presses, and welding equipment.

Lead preventative and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.

Interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings to perform precise work.

Assist in root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.

Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to support process improvement projects and new equipment installations.

Train and mentor junior technicians and maintenance staff on best practices and safety standards.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and logs using CMMS software.

Ensure compliance with plant safety regulations, environmental policies, and OSHA standards.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial or automotive manufacturing maintenance.

Advanced certification in areas such as electrical systems, PLC programming, hydraulics, or robotics (preferred).

Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).

Proficient with diagnostic tools, PLC interfaces (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), and industrial software.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed.
