Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Certification & Supply Chain Operations Analyst to join our growing team. This combined role is responsible for managing sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationships, while also leading critical compliance and certification initiatives, including CE marking, ISO 9001, OSHA/health and safety compliance, and product regulatory approvals.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of operations, quality, and regulatory requirements, with the ability to move between day-to-day procurement and longer-term strategic compliance efforts.

Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Purchasing (50%)

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for components, materials, and services used in equipment and 3D part production.

Manage RFQ process, purchase orders, lead times, and cost tracking.

Maintain vendor relationships and ensure alignment with quality and delivery expectations.

Implement vendor risk assessments and support Approved Supplier List (ASL) management.

Managing receiving process to track inbound deliveries and inventory levels to support just-in-time manufacturing.

Compliance & Certification Project Management (50%)

Coordinate certification projects, in conjunction with consulting partners, including CE marking, ISO 9001 compliance, and health & safety certifications.

Serve as liaison between internal stakeholders and certification/regulatory bodies.

Serve as a liaison between Precision Additive and consulting partners to track implementation progress.

Maintain internal documentation for regulatory compliance, such as technical files and risk assessments.

Support internal and external audits, gap assessments, and corrective action implementation.

Create and manage timelines for certification and compliance-related milestones.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or related field.

2–6 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or operations roles.

Hands-on experience with certification or quality systems (e.g., CE, UL, ISO 9001, OSHA).

Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage vendors and project stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, or equivalent).

Preferred:

Familiarity with metal additive manufacturing or capital equipment supply chains.

Experience working with notified bodies or regulatory consultants.

Working knowledge of EU Machinery Directive, product labeling, and CE technical files.

Internal auditor or ISO 9001 training certification is a plus.
