REPORTS TO: Sales Manager
JOB TYPE: Full-time, Monday-Friday with on-call required
PAY: Salaried Position from $36,000/Year plus commission (begins after 90 days); Exempt
JOB SUMMARY: This position is a sales position, with established sales territory. Candidate must manage and maintain assigned accounts while profitably selling TBC's product lines to satisfy customer needs while meeting the assigned territory quota.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for maintenance and care of current customer accounts as well as developing new business from leads and cold calls.
Reach an agreed upon sales target by the deadline and submit reporting as required by Manager.
Set follow-up appointments and create sales material to keep customers aware of the latest developments.
Company vehicle provided (Some overnight travel required.)
Resolve customer questions and offer solutions to complaints to increase company revenue.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
High degree of integrity and ability to quickly develop customer relationships required
Demonstrated ability to use personal productivity enhancing tools, including laptop computers, spreadsheets, word processing, e-mail, and contact management software
Must have excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication, listening and presentation skills.
Deadline and detail-oriented
Pre-employment drug testing, valid and clear Texas driver’s license and required background checks.
EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years sales experience, preferably with Industrial product sales
