As a Business Unit Control Manager, you're responsible for managing the finance function within Nestlé Purina PetCare Global Resources. Come prepared to lead the management of staff, the accounting process, and adherence to organization standards while collaborating with Nestlé Purina PetCare US, and the broader Nestlé Finance community.
Manage the day-to-day financial activities including assistance with preparation, review, and rollup of budgets and forecasts, financial postings, journal entry processing, intercompany payment processing, system feeds, documentation, and archiving
Ensure financial integrity by following standard operational procedures, local and international accounting rules, tax, and legal requirements
Follow Nestlé Accounting Standards for all aspects of accounting, inventory, and Fixed Assets
Support Nestlé International and local external audits and compliance throughout the institution
Support Capital Investment process, inventory, and asset handling according to organization standards
Support budget & forecast process, cost element, and project level following organization guidelines
Support Procure to Pay process as it relates to the financials, KPI's, and overall compliance
Lead accounting related aspects of systems cross-functionally
Support and consult cost center owners, Functional Managers, and Project Managers in planning, purchasing, and accounting topics
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field from an accredited Institution
7+ years of finance experience with emphasis on co-piloting or HQ finance functions and 3+ of those years in people management
Other
CPA and/or Master's degree is preferred
Ability to use end-to-end business tools like SAP/BW is preferred
Background in Research & Development is preferred
Experience with PowerBi is preferred
Advanced skills in Excel is preferred
The approximate pay range for this position is $105,000 - $156,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
